ENG
How to annihilate Valonia ventricosa with 10% Caustic soda solution.
This method can be used for all nuisance algae and pests
for example: Aptasia, bryopsis, majano, nuisance zoanthus and also excessive growing Briareum and Erythropodium caribaeorum

Start with turning of all streaming pumps

after turning on the pump  (time 19:12)
Update(2/5/17):Siphon the white blanket with a 4mm pipe and hose before turning on the streamers
(the key is to spread the residu as quickly as possible with all streamer turned to full power to prevent small flocks dropping on corals, this can burn/damage the corals)

Siphoning the caustic soda blanket is also a good way of preventing the flocks from spreading and landing on top of corals.
